About EarnAPYon
A rate table you can check our work on.
What this site is
EarnAPYon compares where money earns yield: high-yield savings accounts, US Treasury bills, and DeFi staking, side by side. It exists because those three worlds quote numbers that look comparable and are not, and because most rate tables do not tell you when their numbers were last actually checked.
How the rates are verified
Every bank rate on this site follows the same rule:
- Checked at the source. A rate is published only after being read from the bank's own page, anchored to the specific product it belongs to, never the biggest number in a banner. Banks routinely advertise a CD or promotional rate more prominently than the savings rate; those do not count.
- Dated. Every rate carries the date it was last confirmed, and the header shows when the data was last built.
- Expiring. A rate we cannot re-confirm within 45 days is removed automatically. The table gets shorter rather than wrong.
- Withheld when unsure. Banks whose pages we cannot read reliably are left off entirely, even the famous ones, until we can.
Treasury yields come from the US Treasury's published daily curve, and DeFi yields from DeFiLlama, both refreshed automatically.
Who runs it
EarnAPYon is built and run by Alex Moskov, independently. There is no bank, broker, or fund behind it.
How it makes money
Some bank links may pay a referral fee if you open an account. Ranking is by APY and is never for sale: no bank can pay to move up, be included, or delay bad news about its own rate. The full policy is in the disclosures.
