Short, because we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
If you sign up for rate alerts, we store your email address, when you signed up, and that you came from this site. That is the complete list. No name, no phone, no financial information, no account numbers.
If you never sign up, we store nothing about you.
What we use it for
One thing: emailing you when a top savings rate changes. That is what you signed up for, and it is all the address is used for.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or share your email with anyone.
- Send marketing for other products, ours or anyone else's.
- Buy email lists or add addresses we were not given directly.
Money and links
Some links to banks may pay us if you open an account. That happens on the bank's site, under the bank's privacy policy, and sends nothing about you back to us beyond what the affiliate network reports in aggregate. Payment never affects where a bank ranks — see our disclosures.
Cookies and analytics
The site stores one value in your browser: your light-or-dark theme choice. It never leaves your device. We do not run advertising trackers.
Where the data lives
Subscriber emails are stored with our database provider (Supabase) in the United States, readable only with server-side credentials.
Leaving
Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also just reply to any email, or write to alex@earnapyon.com, and we will delete your address entirely.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, subscribers hear about it by email before it takes effect.
